Understanding the 5th Penny Sales & Use Tax

A petition is circulating to add a 5th Penny Sales & Use tax to the May voting ballot.  What does this mean?  Will taxes go up?  What will be taxed?  How does this affect you personally or how does this affect your business?

The Chamber will be hosting multiple educational offerings to discuss the advantages to businesses, communities and the entire county by adopting this additional 1% sales tax.
