Key Responsibilities:
• Membership Growth & Retention
• Develop and execute strategies to drive new member recruitment and retain existing members.
• I just added Lead a social media marketing campaign featuring members
• Actively engage with local businesses, organizations, and the community to communicate the value of Chamber membership.
• Work with the Board, volunteers, and ambassadors to facilitate connections, strengthen member relationships and increase participation in Chamber programs.
• Business Development & Engagement
• Lead sponsorship sales efforts to support Chamber programming and events.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships that enhance the Chamber’s offerings and create mutual business opportunities.
• Represent the Chamber at key networking events, open houses, business functions and industry gatherings to expand visibility and influence.
• Member Experience & Program Development
• Ensure members maximize their engagement, benefits, and return on investment.
• Oversee the design and execution of impactful networking events, educational classes, and affinity programs.
• Collaborate with Chamber board to refine and enhance membership pricing, benefits, and engagement strategies.
• Data-Driven Sales & Marketing
• Manage and optimize the Chamber’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track outreach, engagement, and retention metrics.
• Leverage data insights to continuously refine sales, retention, and member satisfaction strategies.
• Contribute to marketing efforts, including website content, digital communications, and promotional materials.
• Addition duties as assigned
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary Range: $ 50K to 60K per year DOE
• Bonuses: A Performance-based incentives is offered based on Chamber income from fundraising.
• The schedule for this position is typically expected to be 8am to 5pm, Monday thru Friday, with at least half of the time spent out of the office meeting with businesses, planning events, networking, etc. Additional flexibility is available during events and after-hours activities.

Requirements
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a charismatic, strategic, and driven leader who thrives on building relationships and driving business success. The ideal candidate will have:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in Sales, marketing, business development, or membership management.
Sales & Negotiation Expertise: Proven ability to increase revenue, build pipelines, and successfully close deals.
Grant and Grant writing experience: Writing grants yearly for programs and nonprofit opportunities pertaining to a member-based nonprofit.
Event & Sponsorship Sales Experience: Knowledge of sponsorship development, partnership cultivation, and member engagement strategies.
Tech Savviness: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with experience in Adobe, Canva, and Constant Contact, Wix a plus.
Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to inspire volunteers, ambassadors, and community partners while working cross-functionally with Chamber leadership.
Flexibility & Community Presence: Willingness to attend morning and evening events, regional business functions, and trade shows as a representative of the Chamber.

Position Overview
